DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL through Booking.com. On arrival the reception staff said that they had no record of my booking and that they DO NOT have a relationship with Booking.com. I was also one of many who had turned up with such a booking. This hotel is a workers' hotel and as such meets expectations - I marked it as exceptional because, although notionally 'full', the staff found me a room, which was very kind and helpful as Ouse is not close to other population centres and I would have been stuck for accommodation

I can sum up this property with one word...WOW! You open the door to a vast expanse of space, taking in the beautiful stain glass windows with the light filtering through.
