I went to Ghent to attend a conference. My time at Achilles was just superb. The staff was friendly and attentive, rooms clean and luxurious. Loved the detail of the complimentary coffee, water and tea, plus the honesty bar. Room was very confortable, check in great, no complaints really. Will stay here again when I am back

Efes home is located in a cozy and quiet neighbourhood. The house is spacious and has two stories. The room is on the upper one. The room is also quite spacious and has a gorgeous view out the window. It also has a balcony where you can chill, but sadly it wasn't really an option for our stay due to the rainy weather. The host is very hospitable and nice. She brought us coffee and snacks in the morning, which was lovely. We also had quite a nice chat :)

    Beautifully exterior, interior facilities, large family room, large comfortable sofa and beds. I really liked the room. I also liked the free parking inside the hotel and the use of the private swimming pool. Above all, the staff working at the concierge were super friendly. The man told us about different ways to get into the city, driving and precautions for driving downtown, and even parking lots, which was a huge help to us that day.

    Great location. Approximately 30 minutes walk from the main tourist part of ghent, very easy to get a taxi from the apartment. Little convenience shop down the road. 5 minute walk to the train station. We couldn't access the free parking due to roadworks but the on street parking outside wasn't too expensive. The apartment was clean, tidy and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The Aircon was a life saver as it was very warm when we visited. Next time we visit we will certainly try to stay there again.

    The Hotel Erasmus was a very short walk from the centre of Ghent, but just far enough out that we were away from the bussle of the centre. We were directed to secure parking nearby. Inside the hotel was a beautiful historic building and very quiet. The chap on reception was very helpful and spoke good English (and other languages). We particularly liked the suit of armour in the breakfast room.
