Location and affable hosts. Relaxed town within easy reach of major venues. Train station is a short walk. We just spent eight days in Aigle at this wonderful BnB. At first we thought Aigle might be an odd, out of the way place to stay but it was great. It is conveniently located for getting back-and-forth through the wine country, up to Lausanne, and even out to Zermatt. We had a car, so the secure, gated parking was appreciated. The host were charming and attentive. The facilities were spotless and the beds comfortable. One of the best BnB’s we stayed at. And of course, there was Chester the black lab who greeted us gently whenever we returned …

Even before arriving at the hotel, the warmth and kindness of the owner and staff meant a lot to us. The hotel and its surroundings are wonderful, with walking trails that immerse us in the beauty of nature. The staff’s attentiveness made us feel truly special, leaving us with a strong desire to return. Everything was perfect, and Martin, in particular, made sure we never felt like strangers.     Stayed at Le Cedre overnight only for a bike race in the area. Hotel was great for that as it's easy access to the main roads. Room was functional and offered everything I needed for the stay. There was parking right in front of the hotel.
