When coming to Mompox this is the place you need to stay. The location is perfect directly at the river side with a nice terrace in front to have a cold drink to meet other travellers as well as locals. You can rent bicycles as well as kayaks directly at the Hostel. For sure you shouldn't miss out on the boot tour for seeing the flora and fauna as well as the beautiful sunset on the Magdalena river. Hugh shout out to Jaime to making you feel at home and organizes all sorts of activities in Mompox

Whole staff is charming. Victor and Diana are always eager to help. I also had the chance to discuss with the friendly owner Claudia who drives the business with a lot of care and humanity. Renovation works are fantastic and contribute to mix both history and comfort. The green patio and the great pool area are quiet and appreciated after a day walking around. Location could not be better just al front del rio. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We were at the end of our Colombian 3week roadtrip and kind of tired already. When we got to the Mompax, we were instantly amazed by this historical city. Magical. The hotel itself was extraordinary. The staff was super helpful and carried all our luggage from the car to the hotel. The pool had warm water and our kids swam in the evening and morning. We booked 2 rooms and they both were so stylish. Really felt inspired by this place. Also really safe with kids, because the street in front of the hotel is for pedestrians only. Really sad, we didnt get to spend more nights there. Mompox + San Rafael hotel = perfection! Highly recommend!

Very welcoming staff. The room was very comfortable and had a nice balcony. There’s also a very nice garden and outside sitting area, as well as a pool which we made good use of. We appreciated the secure on-site covered parking.

Fabulous, large room with good air conditioning, quiet and luxurious. Enormous comfy bed. Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. Cold jacuzzi on the roof with a rooftop view just the best thing!

The owner is incredibly helpful and such a happy person! We were sick and were able to extend our stay a few times. The kitchen is really good and the garden is incredible and we felt really welcome there. Totally recommend staying there.
