Markus was a great host, which is not a given in Costa Rica. The bungalow was clean, the kitchen well equipped, the beds large. I would recommend ordering dinner in addition to breakfast. The whole place is located in the jungle where you can take a great hike to the waterfalls where no one else will disturb you. So you can go for a short trip here or just relax by the pool which is big enough for swimming. One of our best accommodations in Costa Rica and we would love to come back.

Guest House Pura Vida was our favourite stay in a month of travelling in Costa Rica. We loved meeting and chatting with our hosts Jorge and Pamela who, thanks to their own love and experiences of traveling, put a lot of thought and care into creating a welcoming place for travellers. This was especially evident by the common areas such as the kitchen, which was beautifully arranged over a second-storey balcony. There was some secret sauce that made the space extra-inviting and we had many easy and warm interactions with other guests. Our room was surprisingly spacious and had lots of neat decorative touches to make it feel like home. The property itself was beautiful, with amazing views of the mountains from the common areas, a tree in the courtyard where macaws would visit, and a little stream behind the property. The location, just a few minutes up the hill from the town centre, was quiet and safe (parking either inside the courtyard, or out front on a quiet gravel road). Finally, it's one of the cleanest places I have EVER stayed at, even compared to higher-end hotels etc. etc. I really couldn't ask for anything more if I tried!

Super new room in Quepos. Safe and closed parking place avaible. Small refrigirator, plates, cups and cutlery also in the room. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Ask them for good advises. Restaurants and bars in walking distance. Manuel Antonio is just 10 minutes with car.

We had an incredible experience! The jungle views from the property are absolutely breathtaking – waking up to the lush greenery and scenic landscapes was a highlight. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What made it even more special was the abundance of wildlife around. We spotted so many fascinating animals right on the property – a true paradise for nature lovers! Highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty.

Beautiful and cosy accommodation right in the heart of nature. Through the large windows you look out into the forest and can see many animals. We were even lucky enough to have a sloth right in the tree next to our accommodation. The owners are nice and helpful. Definitely highly recommend!
