Very friendly persons. The food tastes also good 👍 a surprise experience here. Be careful ! The main entrance is just on the main road. We stayed at Destino for one night and really liked it! The place is surrounded by nature, and on a clear, sunny day, you can see three volcanoes. One of the coolest features of the rooms is that one of the walls is made of natural rock, giving you the feeling of being in a cave - yet everything is modern and well-built. The hosts were very welcoming too. Liz sent us lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area. You can also enjoy an outdoor bath with hot thermal water that comes straight from the ground. The highlight of the property is the cold river, which you can reach within a few minutes. In the Costa Rican heat, swimming in that fresh, flowing water was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and quiet, while still staying in a comfortable and thoughtfully designed house.

Such a nice family owned place. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners are amazing people, and they gave us a tour in their garden with nice plants including cacao and coffee, we also got to go for searching frogs there. Very recommended!

Great location, nice parc and lovely hotel. Roger was always willing to give advices and smiling just like his wife. We had access to the pool(s), inside and outside and even to the kitchen for the fridge.one of the best place to rest between 2 hard hikes.

The room was very clean and we enjoyed the huge patio with the big open kitchen that is perfectly equipped a lot. With Sonia ♡ as a lovely host and cute cats and a dog open for cuddles strolling around it was the perfect place for us to rest from our excursions to the Rincón de la Vieja.
