TABASCO is a pleasant Mexican-style oasis with friendly French hosts, uniquely located near the beach, restaurants, and bars. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the generous breakfast but also by the fact that they served freshly baked pastries made by their own hands. I also appreciated that they lent me beach chairs, provided beach towels, and even did quite a lot of my laundry. Other small details—like ice cubes in containers or insect repellent—only added to the thoughtful care the hosts showed. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially liked that there were two sinks in the bathroom. I highly recommend it.

This was our last stop on our three week trip through Costa Rica and ended up being our favorite place. La quebrada lodge is just beautiful and the huge pool in the middle is awesome. Everyone is so welcoming and rooms are large and super clean. We ended up ordering breakfast from Maria every morning which was very tasty and plentiful.

Very nice villas, very clean, relaxing stay, breakfast available on order, there is also a bar by the pool, recommend to everyone, the owner are very friendly and welcoming, we enjoy every minute there. The hosts were especially welcoming. We were allowed to check in early and also permitted to check out half an hour late. The rooms are cozy and the view from the room of the ocean is wonderful. A delicious breakfast was included. We would definitely stay here again.

Can’t fault this place. It’s very family orientated. If you have WhatsApp it’s really easy to communicate with the hotel. You ask for anything and they are there within a flash. I know it’s not everyone’s forte but we were really appreciative of the fact that you can’t bring animals or smoke on the complex as I have very bad allergies. You all have your own table and chairs to sit out the front around the pool. You can even take your own food and drink on site and treat your room as your home. There is a gated entrance and you need a key fob to get in. It is extremely safe. If you like your Snorkling and scuba diving the office is literally a 5 minute walk, 2 minute drive or they collect you. The prices for these activities were reasonable. We say hump back wales swimming in the harbour too. It was such a good location.
