Location is very good, oceanfront! Very quiet. Staff is friendly and Pura Vida. The cabin was very comfortable. Cold A/C was really appreciated after being out in the heat. Big shower with good water pressure and hot water. The surf could be heard while inside the cabin with the aircon on. I would recommend Coloso to my friends and family and will definitely return soon. Thank You!

Perfect place to overnight before or after the ferry from Jimenez. The young man who checked us in is an asset to the hotel his attitude so friendly and his English very good and he was so helpful find out about busses to go forward.

Since it wasn’t our first visit to his lodge, we knew him (the owner) and the area around it already. The fact that we have been here 3 times, should speak for itself. The rooms are modest and the nature around it, is unbelievable. Breakfast with monkeys and Tucans will be unforgettable. The owner is very forthcoming, he even took the time to help us with our car troubles.

Beautiful gardens and a lagoon, rich in wildlife and bordering jungle. The free breakfast was delicious and owners were extremely welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. After learning of our garden back home, Luis even went as far as to provide several hours of free education on his unique, organic composting strategy. His passion was contagious!

Beautiful and friendly hostel at Pavones, right next to the beach and restaurants. Relaxed, friendly staff and guests. We felt welcome and had a good time cooking meals in the shared kitchen and we were also able to work a little while there.
