The host Karel is very acomodating he played for us on his forest horn, and was very friendly and full of advices for trips around.

We loved everything from the moment we walked in. It is warm and cozy, maintained at a very high level. A lot of thought was given to every detail. The house is located right on the edge of a forest. There’s complete silence — filled only with birdsong and the sounds of the wild forest at night. And yet, we felt a deep sense of peace and safety. We had no hesitation letting our four-year-old play around the house and wander with us along the forest stream. The house itself is spacious, cozy, and safe, with everything you might need — plus lots of toys for children and games for adults. You can choose to heat it with the wood-burning stove or electric heaters. The underfloor heating on a cold day was just fantastic! We truly enjoyed every single day in this home. Although it feels like a peaceful, remote getaway in nature, a large shopping center is just a 15-minute drive away — so you’re never too far from anything you might need. Just a note: you do need a car to get there. And there’s very little reception — the Wi-Fi is quite weak, and mobile signal comes and goes. This wasn’t a downside for us at all, but it’s good to be aware of it.

The Apartment was spacious and we had enough place. The kitchen was fully supplied and you can easily cook your meals there. The garden is equipped with two seating areas and a fire pit. On top of that you have a beautiful view over the valley, which you can enjoy in peace due to the quiet location. For the children there is a small playground, which you can observe while sitting in the garden, all in all a nice and safe place for children. One big plus is also the Prachov rocks, which are in walking distance of roughly 5-10 min.

Very good location to visit the Bohemian Paradise. Close to Jicin city center. Nice, clean, comfortable apartment for 4 persons. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Good wifi. Easy check-in and check-out. We arrived late night, but the staff helped via phone call to get in, the keys were hidden somewhere. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I reccomend to use sauna and massages in the hotel. They are amazing. I also like breakfast there. There is a lot of options for everybody. I am lactose intolerant and I hotel had a lot to offer. I love it that I could also have coffee to go. I just love the reception there. Personnel was very nice and helpful.

I loved the position of the accomodation. It was in the middle of the forest, during night it was really dark, it was easy to fall asleep even for me, who is sensitive to light. The triple bed with my son was great option, finally I had enough space to sleep. It was a unique experience for us to wake up to the sound of a rooster.
