Best booking I have made so far ! Excellent in all fields the rooms were very cozy made with good taste combining village atmosphere with modern amenities immaculately clean and tidy ,the location magnificent a very beautiful Bavarian village next to the Altmühl river. The hostess Doris was very friendly and helpful providing all the info about the area!!!

the restaurant by the river where the food was excellent. Lovely room excellent staff. Electric charging points for our Tesla. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Their own beer was well worth buying a few bottles for our onward trip.

It's a fantastic place to stay! We will repeat as soon as possible. Amazing. So many little details in the room and also at breakfast. We enjoyed a lot our stay at Anitas Altstadtpension.     Pension Holzapfel is located in the heart of a picturesque village, a great starting point to many cycling and hiking adventures. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, pointed us to very good restaurants nearby. The room was clean. The breakfast was basic, but we didn't leave the table hungry. Parking wasn't an issue.

    Our family had one of the most amazing and relaxing stays we’ve ever had. The view we had from our room looking out at the garden and lake made us feel at home at once. The rooms are also spacey and well-equipped. Doris and her family were absolutely sweet and attentive. There’s so many sights and attractions to go to in Altmühltal, our small kids were never bored. There’s also a good restaurant/brewery nearby (Brauereigasthof Schneider) that we went to every evening. Parking was easy-peasy. Would love to get to stay here again!
