Bit sad the bar and restaurant was closed ..we had driven 7 hrs, and just wanted a couple drinks and a nice meal. However ... the whole town was partying in the streets in a festival ..so ..tired as we were ..we just went and joined in. Lovely place ..lovely people ( especially the charming breakfast lady with the ex boyfriend from Chelmsford ) ..🧡

The friendly owners who left fresh flowers, wine and beer, plus a bowl of fresh fruit - amazing. They willingly heated our supermarket oven baked bread as there is no oven in the apartment. They also froze goods for us as there wasn’t a freezer. The kitchen is large with lots of bench space, including the sideboard. The lounge room has the most comfortable sofa and armchairs. It was always quiet, which was excellent for sleeping.
