If you enjoy nature and fresh air, this should be awesome. I really enjoyed the place... horses, cows, squirrels and dogs were all around and fairly "home". Very kind and helpful staff (kudos and congrats!), despite some language barriers. Amazing breakfast (and also had one dinner, thank you!). The Kirchdorfer Heide is really close too. I went to Reload Festival, which is... "relatively" close (or workable) by car. Very cozy feeling... warm and peaceful vibes all around and there were plenty of people around. Quite enjoyed the room too, almost forgot! Very recommended.

We stayed for one night at Gasthof Runge and had a pleasant experience. The hotel offers a cozy, traditional atmosphere with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we felt welcome. The location is convenient for a short stay, and the breakfast provided was satisfying and well-prepared. A great choice for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stopover in Barenburg. We would consider staying here again!
