We booked the hotel last minute, and despite entering the wrong building for check-in, we were quickly checked in and re-directed to the room. The room was super comfortable, clean and warm. the shower had amazing pressure. the next day we purchased breakfast there and it was so so good - one of the best omelets I've had in a while.

The owner was very nice and had the feel of a caring grandmother. She lives in the house and rents out the extra rooms. She is very nice and gave us good tips on how to enjoy the area; the place is very clean, and well organized.

Very nice design overall and well thought out. I found out that this used to be a jail where many Jews were imprisoned. While the leaning into the prison details nice design-wise, I'm not sure it's considerate. However, its functioning as a hotel overall is pretty impeccable from form to functions. While there's a surcharge for dogs, it's the only hotel we've been to that actually set up a nice little corner for our pup with bed/mat, bowls and a bag of treats. It's such nice little details.

    A group of three of us stayed for one night whilst on a motorcycle tour. The rooms were very clean and the owner was lovely, we ate there in the evening and the food was really good. The parking was at the rear of the property and was safe and secure for our motorcycles. We will definitely be staying there again.
