It was a total delight being here, surrounded by the mountains in such a lovely apartment, with views over Sankt Peter Abbey. The accomodation has all you need to feel home away from home. The owner was helpful and incredibly friendly.

The hotel is very good with perfect mountain view. Although the road to the hotel is narrow, the countryside scenery is so beautiful. It's near the small town of St. Peter. We had dinner at a very good restaurant which the staff of the hotel recommended. Children are running in the grassland and chasing grasshoppers. The hotel in the forest is suitable for relaxation for several days. Breakfast is good.

The breakfast and all the meals at the hotel were truly excellent. I would encourage people to stay at this hotel for the food alone, but the staff were all courteous, effective and helpful. This is a fine example of a fine family owned hotel with excellent food. The location in a pretty village about 12 miles from downtown Freiburg was very good for walking and enjoying the open air life.

If you are nature lover and interested in German black forest, so this is the best place to stay! The house is very clean and very comfortable with amazing furniture. The owner is very kind and nice. There are restaurants, cafe, bakeries in st Peter. The nature around is like heaven. Freiburg a beautiful city is just a 20 min drive.. I highly recommend this place.

Well equipped room with coffee, toiletries, towel, kitchen dishes etc.. Excellent location - next to the train station. The free pass for public transport was very nice too. We took train for Freiburg, leaving our car in apartment parking. Also, Kirsten was very nice and accommodating. Overall perfect location and room for 4 night stay for us.
