The Lotus House is a lovingly rebuilt house in traditional style directly below the Shali Fortress. Each room is beautifully decorated with simple furnishings and has its own toilet and bathroom. The rooms and the rest of the house are very clean and when I arrived there were brand new woollen blankets for the beds. Also a young and very loving and playful cat named Lotus lives in the house. The owner Ahmed Maradona is such a kind and caring host. Whatever you want or if you have problems, he solves them immediately and is always ready to help. I stayed in his house for 9 nights and it was my best time in Egypt. I can only recommend anyone travelling to Siwa to stay with him.

We went to Siwa in cafour house a few days back and I must say - it was one of the best trips ever. The people working there are so welcoming, you feel right at home from the first day. Special thanks go to Noor and Abdul for the great hospitality and nice conversations, and of course to Hakam our guide for the whole trip - he made our holiday perfect. The atmosphere at Olive Garden House is wonderful! People there are welcoming, friendly, funny and caring all the time. The food is very good, breakfast included and delicious dinner in option. They also arranged a nice tour for us in the desert, to the salt lake/hot spring and to Fatnas for sunset (and they can organise more if your like). Gathering around the fire at night with a local tea. Good WiFi connection. The place is quiet, cosy, relaxing. I really recommend this accommodation!

I absolutely loved the magical moments of stargazing at midnight from the hot spring within the lodge. The night sky was simply out of this world (literally), with shooting stars making a spectacular show. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, particularly Lamia, the owner who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The local staff Khaled, Domom, Mohamed were very kind, generous and attentive. The cleanliness and tidiness of the accommodation exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was a delightful with fresh local ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the traditional siwan tea. The morning meal was served in a peaceful setting within a big dom, quite the place. The location of the ecolodge provided a perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. I totally recommend, and definitely will love to visit again.
