There was a little festival happening outside in Plaza de Pombo which was really fun. The room itself was a great size and very comfortable, with strong air conditioning. We stayed there because of an early morning flight and the location was perfect to get to the airport (5 mins by car). We travelled with a baby and there was a cot provided for us and free parking in the underground car park. We had dinner in the restaurant to not have to leave the hotel and the food was lovely. There is no street parking available so it is necessary to use their car park which is underground and is reached by a car lift-quite unique but expensive at 17 euros per day. Our room was as requested with a sea view and a large and well appointed shower room. We ate in the cafeteria rather than the restaurant where the food was good. Lots of old wooden panels and staircases. Easy access to car park off main road with plenty of free parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were ok but a bit firm. Hotel is quite high up from the Old Town. 15/20 minute walk. One tip which saves your weary legs after a night out is to use the street called C. Antonio Mendoza.
