We had a glorious stay at the cortijo and truly everything was perfect. The big house is very comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the terrace is very wide and gives way to a large swimming pool, and the views over the valley with the endless olive groves are simply stupendous. On a clear day, you can see right across to the snow-capped Sierras. But best of all is the generosity and care of our host, Manuel. He is always ready to respond to requests for information, brings his own eggs and olive oil for our kitchen and is kindness incarnate. And I particularly appreciated his readiness to speak to me in slow and clear Spanish so that I could practice my very basic language skills. If I’d been able to give him 20/10, I would have done so. This is the perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge one’s batteries before further tourist adventures.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Catharina was so thoughtful and accommodating, a wonderful host. We enjoyed the terrace that had a view of Carcabuey, in the evening we had a glass of wine and Catharina brought us blankets and some olives for snacking. In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast on the terrace. The b&b itself is beautiful inside, it was the perfect place to stay!

Lovely little property in a lovely village with it’s own parking at a very reasonable €10 a day very clean and perfectly comfortable for an overnight stay, staff were charming and very helpful and the breakfast was fab and again extremely reasonable.
