This is probably my 3rd or 4th stay at San Isidro.. It's a great overnight stop driving south after getting off the ferry at Santander or Bilbao. A gated motel right next to the motorway with about 80 rooms in cosy log cabins with parking right outside each cabin. Family run, it has a restaurant/bar on site. Large comfortable room with great A/C. Good shower. Fantastic food! Very fresh and full of flavour. It was all good for our overnight stay.

The peace and quiet, surroundings. The food in the restaurant was superb. Staff were very friendly. I booked one night but ended up staying two, just so relaxing!! I travel by motorcycle and there was so much space for parking, i was almost outside the front door of the hotel and could see my bike from my room window.
