The hotel is modern and stylish, our room was clean and cosy. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom excellent. Choice of food in the gastrobar was quite limited, but our meals were enjoyable, although there is no service between 5pm and 8:30pm. The garage offers secure parking, but at an extra cost. Tarancón has little of interest (that I’ve found so far - I would gladly change this view if someone has any helpful information to share). But the Ansares is a lovely hotel but not fitting to the area (how does it survive apart from people like us who pass through on our way south to our homes?) - the staff are helpful, it has secure parking (and loads of free parking outside) and the inner courtyard is lovely.
