For a one star hotel is certainly delivers, though the cost is also not typically one star. It offers a big room, plenty of heating, a large bed, clean large shower and friendly reception. Also, it is very close to the Autoroute and an easy walk to the centre of Teruel, which is so worth a prolonged exploration. The room was small but adequate for the two of us. The bathroom was clean and in good order. All the staff were helpful but a big shout out goes to the young lady managing the breakfast. She was very friendly, efficient and chatty, so it was just as well her English was perfect! Parking was handy also though it cost €10 per night. I believe there may have been free parking nearby but it was extremely bad weather so we took the hotel car park. The proximity to the old town was good and there was plenty to see.
