Very nice place to stay. Perfect if you want to enjoy peace and relaxation by the lake, but don’t want to be completely alone in the middle of the forest. The villa is located in a small village, only about 50m from the lake. A boat is available for trips or fishing, and there’s also a sauna and hot tub in a separate house. The villa itself feels fresh, with new furniture and everything you might need. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. There’s a main road nearby that you can hear a little, but it didn’t bother us. Parking is available in the yard.

The apartment was by far the largest and best furnished apartment I have ever stayed in whilst travelling and is equipped with everything needed. It is a lovely space to spend time in with two bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen with table and chairs, a bathroom and laundry room. There are shops, a bar and a restaurant within 500m walking distance but Kouvola centre is over 3km away, it was a 17 minute cycle ride.
