We loved everything about our stay at Jensa's. The apartment is lovely, check in could not have been any easier, and we had everything we needed for a happy stay. We stayed for 5 days in July 2025 and travelled to 6 or 7 islands from that hub. The kitchen is well equipped, allowing us to cook dinners 3 of the 5 nights. Jensa was available when needed (she lives upstairs), but otherwise inobtrusive. It was very clean. Bed and linens were lovely. Parking was at the door. By the way, the gas stations in the Faroes have great food options to cook yourself or to have prepared for you to take away or eat at their tables when you can't find a restaurant.

The Boathouse at Hosvik is located at the end of a nondescript turn towards the water once you enter the town of Hosvik. Parking is either at the waterfront or beside a building used by a rowing club. The balcony of the boathouse offers awesome views of the fjord-like scene - especially in the early mornings! Kitchen is well equipped and we made quite the feast which was well accommodated on the large dining table. The loft area was very fun and quirky! Love the nautical themes incorporated in the furnishing.

Everything. The host lady, Lilja had been extremely nice and helpful. At the evening of arrival she gave us tip where to go eat. She prepared an excellent breakfast for us in the morning and we had a lovely chat about the Faroe Islands. The house itself is really nice.
