Lovely apartment and the owner was very welcoming. Great communication and very clean. Close to restaurants and the river. This was an overnight stay but you could easily stay here longer. Parking was not outside but close by and free

The apartment was newly renovated and well appointed, it was spacious, light and airy, and had comfortable beds. The exterior of the old terraced building is rather tatty but the apartments themselves are nice. We had trouble with the capsule-type coffee machine which chewed up 3 of the 4 capsules provided without delivering a cup of coffee!

It was lovely! Extremely clean, everything you need was there, 2 en-suite power showers, perfect ambiance. Very well presented. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. 5 min walk to citadel

We went away for my birthday in November, we absolutely loved the flat. We took our 2 westie dogs. Perfect for them too as there is an outside space. Everything was immaculately clean. One of the best places we have stayed in France. Short walk to Blaye. We will definitely book again.

It's a spacious apartment built with popular local sandstone. The location is perfect in the heart of the old town. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom and toilet are separate, which is a bonus. It's directly opposite a Unesco World Heritage Site, a historic Citadelle. The walks around the Citadelle and along the Gironde estuary are spectacular. There is a wide selection of cafés and restaurants.

    Perfect location. Plenty of parking space. Friendly hosts, super welcoming. The room was stunning! Beautiful gardens and architecture. The pool was at the perfect temperature. The breakfast was yummy! Fruit, toasts, croissants, cheeses, meats, cereals, yoghurts. All high quality! All types of tea or coffee. Thank you for a lovely stay! We will definitely come back and we would recommend this place to anyone visiting Blaye.

    Everything was wonderful, from the 1st impression on entering the gate, to the owner's personal warm welcome, to the large and beautiful room, as well as the charming chateau and grounds with heated pool - including secure on-site parking. Breakfast and evening social time with owners (Stephane and Christine) were wonderful personal additions to the overall experience. The location is an easy walk from the town center on the riverfront with shops, restaurants and the citadel.

    An exceptional location and the hotel was beautifully situated in the heart of it. Plenty of parking, the setting and pool were incredible and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant which was lovely.

    A charming small hotel with a friendly and helpful owner. It is very close to the car ferry across the Gironde estuary to the Medoc vineyards. There is parking next to the hotel if arranged in advance (one space) and additional parking is available nearby.
