It was a perfect stop off for us for one night enroute to Calais. It was spacious and comfortable and had a lockable gate to the private parking. Good facilities for self catering and for a family of 5. Our youngest children liked the bunk beds.

Spotlessly clean and quiet apartment, really comfortable with really helpful hosts and lots of extra local information. There's loads of free parking right outside the door and it was very easy to find and get in. The location is superb for access by car and it's also very close to the train station. Great facilities (e.g. the rain shower, large TV with Amazon fire stick and espresso machine) and charming homely touches. Laon is an amazing medieval city that I'm embarrassed not to have heard of before I stayed here. We stayed to break a journey home but now I'd love go back to see more of this interesting and beautiful place. The short but steep walk up to the cathedral from the flat was great fun, the views superb and the cathedral needs to be experienced in person as my words cannot do this adequately.

    Olivier is a very kind host and very helpful. He booked our dinner in next door chateau which was 5 min walk away and excellent Parking was just opposite the room and the facilities dog friendly

    Everything - the warmth and generosity of Olivier's welcome when we arrived, on-site parking, the use of the pool, the facilities in our room (including air-conditioning), the peace of the location, the ease for dog walks in the adjacent woodland, the closeness and quality of the (separate) restaurant next-door, the superb breakfast, easy access to/from A26. If we could give 11/10, we would.

    The property was set in a peaceful, quiet and very attractive rural location. The amazing historic small town of Laon was a ten minute drive away with relatively easy free parking. The host Olivier was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and kind and has created a little oasis of peace and tranquility. There is an indoor pool and plenty of places to sit and relax in the grounds of the property. Our stay was just one night as we travelled through Europe back to the Channel Tunnel. It was a perfect stop off and I would not hesitate to stay again.
