We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely house! Although the owner was out of town while we were there, we communicated several times via SMS. I always received a prompt, helpful and friendly reply. The key was easy to find in a lockbox at the front door. The reserved parking space is directly in front of the house. The entire house was very clean and comfortable, and seemed recently renovated. Although it is not that big, it has a very spacious feel to it. The house is decorated lovingly and is a nice alternative to staying in an anonymous hotel. It has the feeling of being in someone’s private home. There are unique and interesting decorations in little nooks and corners that we were still discovering after a few days in the house. In several places wood beams, and sections of brick and stone walls from the original structure were left visible, giving it a charming character. The bottom floor is an open kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen had everything we needed. The glass door and windows let in lots of light. In the corner is a bookshelf with some games and books as well as a guitar. Outside is a terrace with a large table and a grill. The middle and the top floor each have their own bedroom and bathroom. Both bedrooms have plenty of space for storing clothing and other items. Both bathrooms are large and have a separate room for the toilet, allowing privacy when sharing the bathroom. There is a shower in the bathroom on the top floor and a bathtub with a showerhead in the bathroom on the middle floor. The water pressure everywhere was very good. The middle floor has a small laundry room. The floor in the hallway on the middle floor is somewhat slanted, which gives the hallway sort of a funhouse feeling, but also added to the charm of the house. The floors in the rest of the rooms are level. In sum, we are very satisfied with our stay in this cozy house and would happily stay there again when visiting the area. We highly recommend it.

A fantastic, centrally located historical building, tastefully renovated. The room was spacious and decorated with period artwork. The hosts were very friendly and provided many recommendations for visiting the area. We enjoyed the fresh charcuterie and croissant served in the room for breakfast. We really liked the concept of having an epicerie connected to the B&B.

Vincent & Veronica are exceptional hosts.. They were very welcoming to us into their home and informative on any questions we had. The room was beautiful as was the garden view. The garden at the house was amazing with a little pond and garden room.. this place truly is magical…The breakfast was exceptional, contential with the most delicious fresh produce made by Veronica.. home made Yougart, marmalade & rhubarb jam.. wish we could have stayed longer. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything is excellent here. The room is charming, stylish and comfortable. It is located very close to the port and city centre. You can you a magic quiet garden. From the moment we arrived at the easy to locate Chez TroTro we both knew it was going to be a lovely stay! A warm welcome from both Nathalie and Stephan was most pleasant. An even warmer space was the living room, complete with beautiful wood fire, and wonderful Moroccan design throughout. The room we had was immaculately presented, quirky in a good way, and very comfortable. Everything you could require was there to hand. Breakfast this morning was probably the BEST we’ve had at any of our bookings. beautifully presented yet again and plenty of choice. Would we stay here again? YES and as soon as we possibly can. It’s rare for us to re visit places, but we will make an exception to visit whenever we can! Well deserved 10/10 from us!
