The rural location was great, and the property with it's surroundings were very nice, and very peaceful. Breakfast was enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble regarding one or two additional requests I made. Thank you madame, and I apologise, we didn't introduce ourselves properly. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Dominic and Sandrine, warm, considerate and informative. Our room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and again the breakfast room was a lovely place to eat. The atmosphere was calm and our hosts couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good stay. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can.

Tanja and Paul have created the most beautiful guest house. The room we stayed in was huge, very cosy, clean to perfection and furnished with so many features it was impossible not to feel in love with the place. The beverages available made us feel like at home. The garden was enormous, wild and magical. Breakfast was included and it was simply exceptional. Fresh fruit in abundance, lovely croissants, yogurt, cereals, tea/coffee. But the most remarkable thing we found was the warm welcome, friendly and profesional service both Tanja and Paul gave to us.

What a beautiful place to stay in Chalus. Everything is tastefully decorated, clean , the breakfast brilliant with a wide choice. But most of all the hosts Anna and Pete: they are so friendly and helpful . I would definitely recommend staying there.

This place is exceptional, from the moment you step foot into it it feels like getting a warm embrace of your mother, it feels like home, the design and finish of the restoration work is1st class and the interior is very well accomplished and you can tell that the hosts have put a great deal of effort in. The pool was very clean and welcoming with lots of outdoor space.the grounds are the views are sublime.it is so well suited to couples too, my wife and I stood in the pool watching butterflies dance across the well groomed lawns and the stood together at night gazing at the stars in the dark skies, a moonlit night would have had a different aspect but just as beautifull.the hosts were warm and attentative and very pleasant to hold a conversation with. But they gave us room to feel like their home was ours too. So thankyou both. My advice is seek this out and visit, you won't be disappointed.

Very comfortable with every creature comfort catered for. The hosts even phoned the restaurant to make us a reservation for lunch. There was lots to keep our teenagers busy. Beds were really comfy.

We thought the property was absolutely excellent and we loved everything about it!! Our hosts were extremely hospitable and welcoming, the cottage was very comfortable and peaceful, the secure parking was right outside the front door, and the location for visiting important sites in the area was superb. The swimming pool was available but it was just a little too chilly for a swim! Thanks Alison and Allan for a wonderful visit.
