lovely location by the river, a short walk into the town centre. the property itself is delightful, cosy rooms and comfortable, tastefully laid-out communal areas. and the fact that it plays host to bees just adds to the allure! Amanda and Kevin were fabulous, gracious hosts and couldn’t have been more accommodating. without doubt the best hosts by far that i have had on my cycle odyssey this far.

Lovely location. Excellent facilities, the host really goes above and beyond to provide exceptional accomodation. Fabulous little touches throughout the apartment making you feel at home. Great to have good information about local amenities. Lovely quite spot within walking distance of the town.

Private secure parking within the property gates. Enclosed garden. Large house, beautifully furnished. Looks even better than the photos. Such a spacious house with everything you could need for a short or long stay. The entire house was super clean, a real credit to the owner. A 2 minute walk into town with bars and restaurants. We look forward to staying again.

Very good accomodation for the centre of Confolens. Communication from the owner was very good and friendly. There was secure storage for our bikes. The accomodation was very comfortable and suited our needs. Good kitchen space and bathroom. The garden area was excellent, private with good views. The tables and chairs in the garden are ideal for relaxing and dining.

    The hosts are wonderful, friendly and welcoming. My room was beautifully clean with a fabulous view. I really liked the terrace overlooking the river, great for a cheeky glass or 2... it's an easy 5 minute walk to the town square, shops and restaurants. Parking nearby. I have no hesitation in recommending Chez Jack.

    Everything! Ideally located in the centre of Confolens, right next to the free car park. Lovely period house with interesting features, very friendly and helpful hostess, who couldn’t have done more. Huge bedroom and shared lounge with TV, excellent huge continental breakfast with tons of choice! We loved staying there!

    Rooms, linen and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good size bedroom. Well equipped bathroom. Lovely views over the river. Good central location. Parking outside on the road was pretty easy and free. Friendly staff made us feel welcome (although limited English speakers but that's half the fun of travelling). There's a bar that opens onto the street which was nice to sit outside and have a drink at.
