A perfect place to stop over whilst road-tripping from the UK to Southern Spain. The hotel was easy to find with lots of parking in a secured area. Keyless system in operation meant one less thing to lose and situated next to a decent bistro and opposite a large supermarket and petrol station. Super convenient, friendly staff, comfortable bed and very clean room/en suite. And great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing place. Supportative owner. Most premises are renovated, but the most interesting were areas which havent been renovated - some windows doors with the tracec of natural aging but not destroed in a very good condition.

We had a lovely stay at Chateau la France. From the beginning till the end, we were taken care of. When we arrived Jean-Marc gave us a tour on the property and the next day we had a tour given by Patricia in the winery. Very nice people, great location and facilities. Breakfast was very good (typical French) and the jacuzzi with a view on the vineyard was great as well.

    As advertised, the apartment had a wonderful kitchen with a washer/dryer. The town square was a 5 min walk where there was a great bakery. ALDI's grocery store was a 10 min walk. Also a 10 min walk was the Roger Lapebie bike path where you can rent an electric bike and bike into Bordeaux (1 1/2 hour ride one way). The private parking was also very much appreciated. Bruno, our host, made sure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was all that we expected.
