Quiet, quirky rooms and plenty of parking. What is a little odd is the relationship with the hotel next door. This time, it's reception was also covering La Metarie. Not a problem unless it's raining , just a bit of a walk between the two establishments. Breakfast was served in the Hotel La Chatreuse. There is plenty of secure parking and the entrance is attractive and impressive. Staff were attentive, polite and helpful. The room was quite grand with lovely furnishing - in an old chateau style. Good bar and plenty of room to relax in common parts. Choice of (French) magazines and newspapers. Good grounds for a short stroll including a very impressive kitchen garden. Only place I've ever stayed where the room was twice as high as it was wide - and it was quite wide!
