Easy walking to restaurants and bars and boulangeries in the morning. Despite being on the river there was no water noise once inside the apartment. Views over the Charente from the large roof terrace are amazing, particularly at sunset. The concierge service was also impeccable. Plenty of free parking only a short walk away in the centre of town or nearby side streets.
