He operated the gates into the car park and told us the code to operate them.. He also gave us information about the town and area. The kitchen was very good. It was easy to walk to the town centre and supermarket. Although we were on a busy road we heard no traffic noise. There were books everywhere. The Breakfast had an exceptional choice and was fresh and appetising, with some hot items served. The Restaurant was not open on the night of our stay, but would be worth trying some time, especially for a Gourmet treat. Good car parking facilities were available in advance of check-in, and the WiFi was also complimentary.
