Lovely quiet village location. Loads of atmosphere and history. Very interesting. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see "real France". Host was very helpful. Breakfast very nice. Room was large (but don't expect an Ibis style room!)

The restoration of the house has been beautifully done, and I appreciated the thoughtful Christmas decorations and the selection of toiletries that added a nice personal touch. Everything you wish to find in France you will find at The Domaine des Grand Chenes. The house and bedrooms are beautifully renovated and comfortable. DO NOT go there without trying Laly's dinner, so generous and tasty. Breakfast is gorgeous too, with a special of the day every morning (I would suggest you stay a few nights to taste it all :)). The highlight of our holidays is to have met Laly and George, they will make your holidays even better than they already are.
