Very comfortable, cozy and freshly renovated place in an amazing touristique village of Turquant. It's made of traditional bricks just like the chateau de la Loire. It's just beside the Pomme Tappé Museum and Restaurant . Beds are very comfortable with very clean bedding. Perfect if you're with kids. My three kids loved it and slept there very well. Everything you need in the kitchen and a cable TV. Fantastic place for a weekend escape and walking around the caves. We had a fantastic stay and loved it. The hosts are very nice! The place is charming!

The room brings you back in the Indiana Jones movies and all those 1800 early 1900 movies and period. The apartment is i the addict of a house, it has two rooms and . It has a free public parking space (there are several in front of the building)- As it was a free day/national day we did not care about if we need to pay for the parking.... Out of the pictures you can see it is a special kind of apartment, but once you actually open it you enter the mesmerizing world that was prepared for you! A lot of antiques (from coins, old books, old type writers, even an old BB gun to furniture all is amazing). But then you have a modern kitchen with all the up to date devices (philips sense coffee machine, oven, washing machine, etc) all blended in such a way that you are still transported back in time but with the 2025 devices. Cool! . WIFI working, TV working , very modern kitchen. A family with 2 kids spent here 2-3 hours discovering the apartment, taking cool pictures. The idea of the apartment is that of an 1800 explorer tent in the middle of Africa /safari! I must say , we were impressed, we were blown away! So much fun. For one night stay , it took us a lot of fun time to explore the inside of the "tent"

Beautiful chateau full of heritage. Very lovely staff. Interiors of the chateau were well preserved and filled with character. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. Lift available for convenience.

A pretty little apartement in a converted attic: the apartment is stylish and really makes the most of every square centimeter to pack all the things you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Eveything was spotlessly clean and new/well maintained. The lovely views of the Loire and rooftops are a bonus. Cafes and shops (Place du Marche, Place Saint Pierre) are only a 3 minute walk away. And if you want to test your fitness, turn right and head up the hill to the castle: a fantastic panorama awaits! We parked easily, just 30m away. Our host was responsive and always very helpful.

Very convenient for walking into Saumur and the parking outside the property in the parking bay on the road was fine. The decor and fittings were unique bright and cheerful. Kitchen equipment excellent. It was very comfortable and the garden truly an oasis of green and unusual plants. The bathroom was excellent with good lighting and plenty of hot water. Bed was also very comfortable and unusually large. Obviously lots of care had gone into creating this apartment. Despite being on a main road there was very little intrusive noise and none at night time.

    Comfortable, quirky, characterful, and in a wonderful location. Clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, and bathroom. Great WiFi and TV for those evenings in. A nearby cafe for evenings out. Exceptionally helpful host. Great bedrooms, as long as you can climb steep steps to the one upstairs. Nice little terrace. Convenient parking nearby. Simply lovely.

    unique property with some rooms in Troglodyte caves and a heated cave swimming pool. room was spacious. safe parking for motorbikes. owner arranged meal in local Troglodyte restaurant which was walking distance and excellent. Great breakfast. Right next door to wine tasting. worth walking around the nearby Troglodyte village

    Janic (owner) went out of his way to make our stay a wonderful experience - he booked restaurants for us, he booked vineyard trips for us and even got a beamer so that we could watch the Le Mans 24 hr race. Nothing we needed, including secure parking for classic cars, charging for an electric car etc was a problem - in fact I think we found a new friend! We were a party of 8 and had 4 rooms over 4 nights and we were so moved by his service and care, each couple gave him a 100 euro tip.

    Rooms were very French, clean and comfortable. Nice view. Good breakfast. Parking but tight squeeze in VW camper through entrance! Booked us into a local restaurant Bistroglo which was nice as L’Hélianthe not open. Visit Domaine Filliatreau winery as great wines.
