Amazing and comfortable Guest House in the midst of the Marais Poitevin, hosted by the lovely Marlene and René! Peaceful green surroundings and a direct access to a river canal at the foot of the garden made our quick stay memorable and enjoyable. Breakfast is awesome, don't miss René's exceptional omelette, made with freshly laid eggs! We'd love to be come back longer!

A beautiful house and location... What a charming and peaceful place. The guest quarters are very spacious, comfortable and well designed with many thoughtful touches. We loved the refurbished rooms in the coach house and areas available to us - kitchen and sitting area. The host, Teddy was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and tasty! Highly recommend a stay here.

Casa Upada was just beautiful, the host was lovely and the room was exactely like the photos on Booking.com, absolutely nothing to dislike at all. The old Roman theme was quite unique and the shower room was the largest I have ever been in. The hosts had thought of everything and the breakfast was just superb, truely a 10 out of 10. At last the weather permited a swim.
