The property pause as advertised. It was supposedly decorated extremely comfortable, clean, quiet, and very restful. The hosts were very friendly and very pleasant to deal with. This would be one of the best B&B properties we have ever stayed in.

The fact that it was the house used for the fantastic show All Creatures Great and Small. I came here for sentimental reasons, to celebrate my 55th birthday and see the house of my favorite show. I loved everything about the house! Clean, warm, all the facilities you needed although I did not use half of them, fantastic bed and bathtub- shower too- and the most attentive staff who helped me get in when I arrived late in the evening and lost the lock box code! Chelsea could not have been nicer as well as her colleague Terry, who gave me a great birthday treat- she knows what I am talking about! Thank you for the experience for someone that waited 47 years to visit the Skeldale House!

We were very impressed with the rooms - the size, the comfort, the cleanliness and the attention to detail. It far exceeded our expectations and the online photos don't do the rooms justice. The pub itself was so enjoyable and the owners and chef were incredibly welcoming. Delicious dinner and breakfast, plus enjoyable banter with the locals. We're a family of four and would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone.

    This was a lovely accommodation, with really good facilities. The toiletries were high quality, as were the kitchen appliances. The apartment was very clean and the bed comfortable. The views from the window were beautiful. We didn’t have any problems finding a parking space close to the house. It is a lovely base from which to walk the local area, and visit local landmarks.

    Great comfortable stay at Middle House. The staff were lovely, very approachable and couldn't do enough to help you. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice, well cooked. Our room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Car parking great & garden was well maintained. Great location for touring around the Dales Very enjoyable stay

    Lovely spacious apartment, immaculate and sylishly furnished, kitchen had everything you need. Askrigg is a beautiful village, plenty of good quality pubs, parking was a bonus. Will definitely be back.

    Lovely hotel with parking in centre of Askrigg. Owner was extremely helpful. We ate in hotel restaurant which was really good. Very comfy bed.

    Excellent location right in the middle of the pretty village. A lovely view from the top floor bedroom window. Kitchen had a toaster and a fancy microwave oven / normal oven which I managed to work out. Bed was comfortable. WE managed to find on street parking very close.
