    Spacious room, equipped with fan. Spotless. Good quality bedlinen. Easy parking in large car park off quiet lane. Super bathroom with wonderful shower. Excellent towels and robes. Good communication with owners prior to arrival. Responsive and kind. Did not see the owners during our stay as it was a self check-in, but that was fine. Very good TV.

    Great location to explore Barry Island. Lovely coastal walks and friendly area. Private secure parking important for us and it is a decent sized parking space unlike some places we have stayed! Cold Knapp Lakeside Gardens well worth a visit. Can recommend John's Cafe on Friars Rd. Also The Docktown Grill on Broad St and The Ship (Hungry Horse) though these two eateries are a 20-30 minute walk away.
