The design of Guy's Thatched Hamlet is terrific. The buildings are attractive & have great character. The rooms are spacious & the location right beside the canal adds to the appeal. We ate in the pub, which was packed & clearly very popular with locals & residents alike. The food was excellent.

My wife and I only had one night's stay in Preston. However we were fortunate to have booked to stay at East Cliff, and we had a very nice visit. East Cliff was different from the other 28 accommodation places we have stayed in on our current trip around Europe and the UK. It is more of a traditional bed and breakfast in a beautifully renovated home. David, the host, was very helpful in terms of communication and directions. He allowed us to check in early to fit in with our arrival by train. David lives in the home and he welcomes just a few guests at a time. In our case, one other guest, who had stayed previously. It was good to be able to interact with this guest, and our host. We were delighted with the excellent accommodation, which included a filling breakfast in the morning. To top it off David even cooked and packed us some extra pastries to take with us on our onward journey. He is a genuinely caring and helpful host. David shared suggestions on places to visit during our short stay. East Cliff is handy to the Preston railway station, as well the town centre, restaurants, shops, parks, etc. We definitely recommend East Cliff if you plan to visit Preston.

The farm house was absolutely beautiful, it exceeded my expectations, its was way better in reality than photos. The location was so peaceful with little to none light pollution, the house was warm and homely. I shall definitely be back for a longer stay

AMAZING hotel! We received a lovely warm welcome from Victoria and Liam on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was sublime - beautifully decorated with picturesque views across the countryside. Subtle sound of a radio playing classic FM in the bedroom and lovely smelling handwash were extra nice touches. Comfy beds. Exceptional breakfast. It was a perfect night's stay and we can't wait to return!

Great apartment!!! I have never been in such a clean place. Wonderful view from the window on the marina, in the apartment everything you need, quiet, cozy, warm, parking space in front of the apartment, we will definitely come back!!! And most importantly - immediate and very nice contact with the host - Asif. We also very much salute the wife - who took care of the beautiful and functional decor of the apartment.     The whole feel at Guys was awesome. Guys have a restaurant on site which was superb for evening meals. Meals are also available in the bar. The selection for breakfast was lovely. Located right beside the Canal with plenty of outside seating, this is a lovely establishment. Located in a quiet area of the village, it has plenty of parking. Located about 8 miles from the M6 it is within easy reach of Blackpool and Lancaster. We use the M6 often so we will definitely be back..
