First of all I must mention that the people running the hotel were so nice, I had some lovely conversations with them, super friendly and they were quite helpful with the things I needed. Secondly the place was quite worth it for the money, the room had everything you need, the bed was very comfortable and there was an amazing English breakfast being served everyday. There is an enjoyable trip with ferry that gets you to Liverpool in about 10-15 mins, and there are also bus connections that run every 20-30 mins. From my room, there was a nice view to Liverpool. I'd highly recommend it.

As soon as you enter the hotel, you knew that your experience was going to be very good. The staff straight away were very friendly and with a smile. Once in the room it was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The bar and eating areas again were spacious and comfortable. I think what I enjoyed most was the staff, especially the bar staff and waitresses. They would always have a smile and engage in conversation with you, getting to know you, advising you and even giving me a lesson on the history of the cocktail Bramble.

    Cheryl made us very welcome and went over and above with helpful itineraries to make best use of our time in the area. Breakfasts - full English were delicious. The location couldn’t have been better for the ferry - 5 mins walking. Although our time was short the hotel (and ample free parking) ensured we managed to fulfil all our sightseeing plans. A very comfy bed and having a kettle in the room. It was very good value for what we paid. Thanks for the ice, Cheryl.

    I work away, and my basic needs are a kitchen and a washing machine, which this accommodation provided. Plenty of pots, pans, crockery, etc. I liked the off-street parking and that there was a Tescos nearby. Margaret, the host, was friendly and helpful. WiFi was good, too.

    Really lovely hotel with a great and friendly host. The room I had was very comfortable and roomy. Easy to find and free parking. Quiet at night and has easy access to Liverpool by car, ferry or public transport. Really good choice for breakfast with cooked breakfast (veggie options available), toast, cereals, tea, coffee, juices all available. Would definitely stay here again.

    The location was excellent, central and easy to get to. The room and en suite were clean, well presented and maintained. The welcome was friendly and helpful. All in all, a very pleasant stay and the onsite parking was really good.

    The beds are so comfortable, the shower is lovely, quiet , free parking onsite , clean , owners are exceptional hosts , I think this will be my go to place when I am coming back up to Liverpool. Excellent value for money . Oh and the little dog was so lovely .
