Gilda the host was fantastic, the property is stunning, the kitchen has really good quality utensils. sitting in the house looking out over the North sea with the wind blowing and snow coming down, whilst in the warmth of a lovely home was priceless. Its my wife's perfect environment and she did not want to leave!! Gilda the host was great, we actually got our car stuck in the snow at the bottom of the hill, we were supposed to leave at 10am but Gilda had already called us to see that we were ok with the snow that had come down, and she said no need to rush out the following day as there were no tenants due, this took off great pressure as we stayed util around 5pm had dinner at the property and then headed for a slow snowy drive to Lerwick to pick up our 7pm crossing on the boat.

    - The bed was comfortable - Food was tasty - Many gluten free options (I was able to eat: soup, main course/fish, ice cream as dinner and cooked breakfast: eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, gluten free toast, yogurt, orange juice, tea, milk) - Very close to the bus stop - There's parking if you have a car

    The hotel was located near North Mainland, which suited us perfectly. It is about 30 m9nutes from the ferry terminal in Lerwick. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a full restaurant facility and bar. As a bonus there is a full sized billiard table available. Our room had 2 single beds, which we found to be comfortable. Parking was on street but no charge. The restaurant staff were outstanding. We dined there for our evening meals in addition to breakfasts. In all, it met our expectations, and are happy to recommend.
