We were made very welcome by the owners when we arrived and were told not to hesitate to knock if we had any problems as they live next door. There was a lovely welcome pack on the kitchen table with fresh flowers. We felt immediately at home and it just got better as the week went on. We had really nice weather for the whole week and used the garden furniture and was spoilt for places to sit. The accommodation seemed to have everything you might need but we didn’t cook or even use the microwave when we stayed as the local takeaways were so convenient and tasty. We had meals on two days from the Mandarin Garden takeaway and also Popty Pizza and Aran’s fish shop. All were very good. Other days we ate out. We did so much walking over the holiday as the weather was so good we hardly used the games room as we were exhausted but on rainy days it would be a blessing. The accommodation is huge and so many nice touches around. The wi-fi, TV and Sky were also top notch. Llangefni is a great central location for touring Anglesey. I could go on and on about Anglesey but if you haven’t visited it you should. We hope to visit Bwthyn Clai again and have recommended it to friends and family.
