Big room, big bed, big bathroom. (Finally, comparing to many small hotel rooms). Our room had a corner with refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities. There is a big free parking place for guests. There is continental breakfast, but it is communicated ahead, we knew it. There were fruits, cereal, yoghurts, farm eggs you can boil as you like, meat, cheese etc. Actually after many days of full scottish breakfast at other accomodations I was very happy with fruits and all the orher choices here. For us it was a very good breakfast. Staff was very nice. Restaurants are in next town, cca 5 min drive. It is out of town but that is why we chose it. Quiet place, our room faced the garden at the back, we didn't hear the traffic on the road (yes, it is by a main road: again that is why we chose it, it was on our route).

The room was exceptionally comfortable, clean, and full of nice treats. Catherine greeted us warmly upon arrival, and communication was great throughout our stay. The shower pressure was perfect and we slept incredibly well thanks to the blackout curtain. In the evening, we took a nice walk around the quiet neighbourhood to get fresh air. I wished we could stay longer!

A very comfortable and clearly modernised interior gave a lovely cosy impression. The bar and lounge/restaurant was staffed on arrival and check in was swift and straightforward. The room was large and the king bed was extremely comfortable! The shower and bathroom was superbly clean and well maintained with modern features. Excellent value for money and highly recommended

Beautiful apartment, tastefuly decorated. The owner put a lot of heart in it. From the conservatory you can enjoy bucolic views of grazing sheep and greenery. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen. We really enjoyed staying there.

Cosy little cottage that felt like home. The host was amazing, leaving us with a beautiful care package on arrival. Our dog was also in heaven with the amazingly large garden to run around in. Would highly recommend a stay here if you want to spend sometime in the central highlands with easy access to all areas.

    My room was slightly apart from the main building which was great for parking my car in front of it, and having a peaceful room. The decor is very basic but perfectly clean (in fact I'd go so far as to recommend less bleach be used as I had to open the windows to air the smell!). The staff member was really lovely and efficient.

    Even though it's on the main road, access is round the back with the car park. Ground floor accommodation was excellent and I was very happy to able park my motorbike right outside the door, away from the main road.

    Very good quality of accommodation with comfortable beds and furniture. there was undercover available for motorbikes and also off road parking for a few cars. The hosts (Fiona & Derek) were very friendly and helpful and provided a very good breakfast.

    The rooms were clean and spacious. Parking was right outside the door making unloading/loading up, a breeze.. our host was most helpful in all things but particularly regarding our delay due to cancelled ferries. We would both highly recommend this venue and intend making full use of it in the future. Thank you. Mike & Emma.

    Achilty Guest House was ideally located for our trip from Newcastle en route to Ullapool for the Lewis morning ferry. it has its own roomy parking area as well.

    A must-say hotel near Inverness. A well-preserved historical activity center is located in a beautiful area surrounded by trees and is highly recommended for families and others. The price stood very reasonable and still offers all the amenities like a star hotel including specious open car park space and served breakfast. We did not join on activities as our trip was only for two days I would suggest exploring the local area and trying those activities as well. It is indeed a value-for-money place to look out again in Scotland.
