I was travelling alone and could not have wished for a better experience! Upon arrival I received a room upgrade, the Bay Hotel staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, the location is out of a movie, I basically rolled out of the breakfast room every morning because I ate so much and I got some of the best sleep I had in ages… I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and I hope I can come back soon! Many thanks to the staff for making this trip truly memorable.

We had a very friendly greeting explaining about everything in the house. The breakfast provided was a good selection of yogurts, cereals, breads, eggs and fruit, which was self service. We were also able to use the kitchen facilities at any time if we wanted. The property is ideally placed for the local eateries. There was a shared living space that was comfortable and spacious. The B&B was right by the sea and the room looked out over the harbour. It was a very comfy bed and so lovely to hear the waves lapping below. The property has been recently redecorated but the character and history of the property has been kept intact. I would love to go back!

What a fantastic property this property is everything that has been advertised and more. The first thing to mention is the views is just wow, from the big windows the view of the ocean with boats, ships, birds inc a kestrel and a seal. You can see the headland and the gardens of the property with rabbits and even a fox, so no need for a TV. Inside you have everything you need its very comfortable, at night there isn't any light pollution or noise all you can hear is the ocean. There are plenty of walks around the property to the headland opposite is easy and down to the beach is fairly easy too, on the last day I walked over to the right of the property if you do this go via the sculpture park this is an easier walk, I do NOT recommend the coastal path near the beach. Coverack is a pretty village only a mile away with a pub restaurant. Back to the property there are 4 flights of stairs but you only have to do this twice with luggage. (I'm not writing in the dislike box below as this goes against the property even if you put "didn't want to go home" anything written in there goes against the property) My only dislike was the toilet flush sometimes you had to do this a few times to flush everything down. We would love to return to this property again. Oh I forgot to mention George the Gull he stands/lies on the concrete ledge outside the windows he will sometimes knock on the windows when closed.

    Lovely view with beautiful cove around the corner for breakfast swim. Car park can be tricky if arriving late/at weekend and had to park the car a way away and then move it as people left. Blind was broken when we arrived and although they knew about it hadn't been fixed or offered any compensation.

    Outstanding location on rocky peninsula that frames one end of a beautiful compact seaside working harbor. Superior views from dining area. Parking provided in front in a very difficult to park area. Cooked breakfast and choices as expected. Pub quiets down and stayed quiet at night.

    Clean comfortable room ("Manacles" - room name) with superb views. Good breakfast and parking for car. Hotel situated at the harbour, right on the coastal footpath.

    Fantastic location with a sea view room. Good walking paths and beautiful white sand coves nearby with turquoise water for swimming, snorkeling. Very friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Pool table, bar. Lovely evening meal, we had dressed crab salad and a burger. I really loved sitting outside watching the Gannets diving into the sea! Beautiful place and I'll definitely return. Free parking too.
