    Cheerful helpful staff. Comfortable room and facilities Food certainly not "fine dining" (but not offered as such in their advertising). Instead we were treated to traditional "pub grub" served well and in generous quantity . Ideal position for city visits - free parking in Cowbridge and half hourly bus service direct Cardiff centre worked very well. Very acceptable three night stay on journey further west.

    We were moved to a two bedroom apartment due to our room not being available on arrival. The apartment was spacious and had a car parking space outside the front door. We had dinner at the Hotel restaurant which was 2 minutes walk, while a good cooked breakfast was provided at the cafe across the street. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

    An amazing little village, lovely location and staff. Beautiful surroundings. Free car parking. Dinner at the hotel and breakfast at their sister restaurant across the road. Lovely little gin bar on the high street. We returned for our 1st year anniversary after getting married there !!! The staff remembered us and we had little extras too x
