    Although our room was outside off the car parking area, probably the stables from an old coaching inn, it was reasonably well appointed given the price point we paid. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities. The only minor quibble was that the waste water in the bathroom was obviously cleared by a pump/macerator system and the noise from this droned on for a few minutes after any of the bathroom fittings had been used. Good fried breakfast in the morning.

    We didn’t use the pool and gym during our stay so cannot comment. Plenty of parking - the signs in the car park suggest you pay but it’s free when you put your number plate into the tablets in reception We booked breakfast for one morning, quite expensive but lots of choice and everything was delicious.

    Overall and excellent hotel with all the services we needed. The swimming pool was lovely. This is a dog friendly hotel and our pooch was most welcome. The rooms we booked were very good and comfortable. Ample car parking (don't forget to enter your reg. number on the console at reception).
