We liked just about everything; from the friendly, helpful, visible owners and their great team, including restaurant, bar and domestic staff in the morning; tasty food for dinner and breakfast; warm, comfortable room; absolutely dog-friendly hotel; very reasonable bar prices; plenty of car parking. The staff were really friendly from the moment we got there until the moment we left! The room was lovely, clean, tidy, well stocked and equipped. Information about parking, check in/out, restaurant was all really clear. The Bowling Green was superb, friendly and organised staff and the food was superb

We had a wonderful stay. The house is fantastic and has everything. It is newly refurbished well decorated and super comfortable. Sainthood just a 3 minute walk down the road for any groceries and it is located on a quiet street. If you are planning to head to Alton towers like us, it is a quick 20 minute drive away. We will definitely be back.

We only stayed one night and it was cold and cloudy so we couldn't see much of the view but the setting is gorgeous and would be fabulous in the better weather. The showman's van is well equipped and quirky, warm and comfortable. Wet room and kitchen area spotless and also well equipped.

    All staff members were lovely and really helpful. The rooms offer very good value for money. Food was really nice and reasonably priced and the hotel is in a great location. There are plenty of parking spaces and outside sitting area. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be returning in the future!
