    Exceptionally nice, freindly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Sunday roast was one of the best pub roasts I've eaten. We were riding historic motorcycles, so the fact the Chequers Inn was "out of the way" with an out of public view car park was important to us.

    The food was amazing! Dinner and breakfast were very filling and high quality. I can't fault the staff, they were helpful and pleasant. It was a little hard to find parking as the car park is only small but I did arrive at peak hours for a pub.

    We were late arriving,they were understanding,.Friendly staff.Spacious bedroom with balcony overlooking a nice garden ,very comfortable bed.The room was quiet and clean.Plenty of parking

    Very friendly village pub, busy and with a good and welcoming atmosphere. Real ale on the handpumps, food available (I did not eat there). Rooms functional, clean and quiet, easy free parking. Excellent value.
