We weren't sure what to expect, as we just needed a stopping over point, but it was wonderful. Very clean, a large comfortable room, peaceful setting and a great breakfast. It was a gem and we are so glad to have found it.

A beautifully maintained cottage , clean, tidy, and furnished to a very high standard, I cannot see anyone finding fault or writing anything negative about this lovely property and with such amazing views and lovely touches, especially the 'bee' theme throughout. A real home from home feeling and with everything you could wish for..all the ingredients for a lovely holiday. We will definitely return and recommend this property to friends and family, Superb!!

Very comfortable, clean and everything we needed for our stay. Modernised but has kept it's country cottage character. Sadly the weather was awful but the cottage was warm and cheery. Centrally-heated but the log fire just made it that much cosier. And having some basics like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits is a lovely touch.

    Lovely cooked breakfast with choice of local produce. Cereal if you wanted it and toast made from real bread. Room was spacious and en-suite shower room was kept warm by huge towel rail. Location was brilliant if you value grand views of the beautiful Northumberland countryside. Parking was easy and sufficient for all guests. Well signposted from main road and adjacent to historic visitor attractions. We loved it and recommend it if you want, or need, to relax.

    Beautiful farm house with ample sized rooms with armchair, sofa, TV and fridge. The bed was huge! I was surprised to find a hairdryer in the room too. Nice touches like fresh milk to go with the complimentary teas and coffees. We enjoyed sitting in the guest lounge in the Tedrad Oskar armchairs and admired the room and view. Plenty of Secure parking and the recommended restaurants were good. I had a full English breakfast one morning and the food was well cooked, tasty and served by the friendly host.

    Everything about this property was fantastic- the B&B was warm and welcoming. Beautifully situated and decorated. It was a true home away from home. The breakfast options were amazing and Rachel our host made us feel so warm and welcome. We had fresh towels, car parking space, a lovely bed and great view- what more could you need? Rachel also gave us some fantastic recommendations for visits and places to eat- it was such a relaxing and easy trip.
