What an amazing location. The house is very well appointed and has been tastefully decorated. Literally right on the waterfront, you really couldn't get a better place to stay. We highly recommend the Laurels and the hosts were great to deal with.

    The central location was perfect and free parking not too far away. The bed had a squeak but it was perhaps the comfiest bed I have ever slept on. The bedroom is at the back of the property too so it is very quiet despite being on the main road.

    Lots of free parking in the Square at the front. The menu in the restaurant has lots of gluten free options which was good for my wife. Food was excellent and even had gluten free sticky pudding. The whole hotel was clean. Breakfast was also really good with a good variety of cooked meals. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

    Comfortable and modern room, good facilities and good breakfast menu. Evening meal in restaurant was also ok/value Courteous service. Street parking outside was no problem Pleasant location /short walk to harbour. Overall good value for money and pleasant stay

    Breakfast superb; location fantastic; separate restaurant to rear of hotel with a really good menu. The hotel bar is open until 1.00am on Saturday nights and used by locals. There is some noise, but generally considerate and rooms are double glazed - with windows shut you hear nothing. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, free on-street parking.
