We had a great stay at Eldon Lea. Both the room and the location were perfect, on a 5 mins walk to Strathpeffer village. We went to see the nearby Rogie Falls were the salmons made their way up the river, fascinating to watch! The hosts have been very kind too so all together we would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing place. The house was built in 1823 and you can feel it in the atmosphere of the place. It's not only about it's age, but most of all about the great renovation work that was done by the new owners since 2003. It's a great story - you can read it in the materials you will find in your room. Basically, it's a XIX century palace that was magically transferred to year 2023 (and fitted with plumbing and electricity). Most importantly, the staff was exceptionally friendly. The night manager that checked us in when we were late after a 4-hour whale boat trip was just amazing. I should have asked about his name...

    The restaurant was fantastic, really great food and friendly staff. Convenient parking. Lovely location and was super convenient for getting to Ullapool the next day. Good facilities in room including a fridge and it's dog friendly, although you do have to pay an extra £15 cleaning fee.

    Great service from hosts. We had been on the road for over two weeks and appreciated the earlier checkin time so we could have a bit of a rest and catch up on housekeeping things like washing. The Bothy is well equipped for self catering and in a very peaceful location. Sheep out the front window and a beautiful river walk out the back gate. Outdoor areas lovely and easy parking. Close to lots of activities. Decor has a lovely feel.

    We loved the quiet location. We arrived at night so we had a gorgeous surprise (views) in the morning. Lovely spacious rooms. Loved the very individual decor. Great to have the outdoor lighting, from parking spot to front door.
