Loved the Christmas decorations (it saved me getting the ones were had brought out of the car). The milk and goodies were also a nice touch. On a very cold and frosty afternoon in the dark it was great to walk into a warm welcoming house. The Wifi was also good (there isn't much of a phone signal in the valley there).

This was a very, very last minute booking and the hosts went out of their way to help us and accommodate us. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is very well equipped and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It is on the edge of the Peak District national park and has great access to Glossop town. The hosts were very friendly and very responsive to our questions. The house was ideal for our party size of 6 adults.

    Whats not to like.. great pub serving fab food and drinks with great atmosphere, Lovely staff. Rooms just upstairs, we stayed on the weekend and there was no noise. Room is outstanding for the price. Lovely decor, spotless. Very comfortable bed, crisp fresh linen, great shower. Free parking right outside. Train station next door, 30 mins to Manchester centre.. 20 mins by car to Manchester Airport. Looking forward to returning 👌

    Great location, large comfortable room, free parking (but not guaranteed), excellent breakfast with quality produce and the option of unlimited coffee refill. Much better than the Wetherspoons and great value.
